Recently, the Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau invited Li Guangde, an associate professor at the School of Resources and Environment of Shandong Agricultural University and a reviewer in the expert database for environmental impact assessment under China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection; Cao Xiaoqun, dean of the School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering at Shandong First Medical University; and Cao Xuejiang, a senior engineer at Shandong Zhengdao Resources and Environment Development Co., Ltd., to form a technical expert panel to conduct the completion environmental impact assessment for our company’s 200,000 tons/year stripped urea production upgrade project. Relevant officials from the municipal and county environmental protection bureaus, units responsible for environmental impact assessment and acceptance, monitoring agencies, environmental supervision organizations, as well as responsible comrades from the group company’s environmental protection department and Runyin (Headquarters) Company attended the acceptance meeting. Before the meeting, the experts first conducted an on-site inspection of our company’s 200,000 tons per year urea stripping facility, carefully examining the construction and operation of the technical upgrade projects, as well as the implementation of environmental protection measures and related testing. During the meeting, our company and the acceptance unit presented to the acceptance team information regarding the basic details of the project as well as the project acceptance report. They stated that the company carried out the project construction in strict accordance with the requirements set out in the environmental impact assessment and the relevant approvals; all environmental protection measures were implemented properly, the project scope was consistent with what was specified in the environmental impact assessment, and the environmental testing results met the required standards, thus satisfying the acceptance criteria. The acceptance team conducted inquiries and reviews from the perspective of environmental protection technologies, put forward relevant acceptance opinions, and declared the project to have passed the environmental protection acceptance. The stripping technology employed in the 200,000 tons per year urea stripping technical upgrade project boasts the advantages of being clean, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly. The project passed the environmental protection inspection upon completion, laying a solid foundation for the company’s rapid development in a green and high-quality manner.
