According to Wushihua, at 4:50 on April 16, 2026, H-1 began the chemical feeding process. At 7:15, air was successfully introduced into R1, and the entire process proceeded smoothly. The facility gradually entered a stable production state, achieving a successful first start-up. According to Wushihua Petrochemical, the company is also working on upgrading the emission system of its urea production facility. As of February 2026, the main structure of the 705F storage tank has been fully completed, 90% of the foundation work has been finished, and the prefabrication of the equipment foundations is now complete. The second chemical production unit of the Urumqi Petrochemical Fertilizer Plant uses natural gas as raw material, employing the Brown natural gas ammonia synthesis process and the Stamicarbon urea production technology, to produce 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 520,000 tons of urea annually.
