On August 31st, thanks to the continuous efforts of the workers and cranes from Dade Equipment Company, the pre-conversion furnace was successfully lifted and installed in place, marking a breakthrough in the technical renovation process. After the transformation and technical upgrades, it is expected that the CO content at the converter outlet can be reduced, and the liquid ammonia production of the ammonia synthesis plant can be increased, thereby providing strong support for the company’s development. The main aspects of this technical upgrade involve adding one heat exchanger, removing and reinstalling two converter furnaces, installing a new first converter furnace, and using the original first converter furnace as a pre-conversion furnace. The project has a long duration and heavy tasks, and the company attaches great importance to it. At present, through the joint efforts of various parties, the technical renovation work is being carried out in an orderly manner. On August 27, a 130-ton crane was brought in to safely dismantle and remove the pre-transformer and deaerator; the new equipment, 2# gas preheater E04101A, has been installed in place.
