Sea friends, I’ve been struggling with a problem lately; I’m not sure how to explain it. It’s a rather interesting phenomenon, but there’s no way to test it. In the wastewater tank, the drain pipe at the bottom doesn’t allow the liquid level to be maintained – when the flanges around the drain valve are loosened, air escapes and the liquid level drops; For the same solution, we installed a spare drain valve in the bottom circulation pipe of the tower; initially, a metal hose was used for connection, and it couldn’t fit perfectly around the outlet drain valve, which caused liquid to leak out. The liquid level could be controlled, but later on we used explosion-proof sealant to fix the leakage issue, yet the liquid level could no longer be controlled. Is it a blockage caused by air? ? ? ? ?
It’s possible that the pressure difference between the inside and outside has been balanced
When discharging waste, since there is no connection between the system and the outside world, the pressure inside the system is lower than the external pressure, so the liquid cannot be discharged. After the plug is removed, external air enters the system, causing the pressure to rise and the liquid to be discharged. I’m not sure if there is a vent valve installed at the top of the wastewater tank; if so, it can be opened when waste needs to be discharged.

I didn’t understand the second question. The first one is probably related to the issue that the vent valve at the top isn’t open; with a slight negative pressure inside, it’s naturally impossible for anything to be discharged
