Recently, the results of the bidding for the survey and design services related to the wind, solar, and energy storage components of the 1 million kilowatt wind-solar hydrogen production integrated project in Damao Banner, Inner Mongolia, which is part of Huadian Group’s new energy industry projects, were made public. The results showed that the winning bidder was China Energy Engineering Group Hunan Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., with a bid price of 6.1 million yuan. According to the previous tender announcement, the survey and design services for the wind, solar, and energy storage components of the 1 million kilowatt integrated wind-solar-hydrogen production project in Damao Banner, Inner Mongolia Huadian are located in Damao Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Tender for survey and design of Huadian green hydrogen project: The project involves the construction of 1 million kW of new energy generation capacity, of which 700 MW will come from wind power and 300 MW from solar power. It includes the installation of 70 wind turbines with a capacity of 10 MW each, as well as 614,770 solar panels with a capacity of 610 Wp each. Additionally, there will be 2 220 kV step-up substations, as well as various supporting facilities such as access roads and power collection lines. A lithium iron phosphate battery storage facility with a capacity of 100 WW/200 Mh will also be built. 88 electrolytic water hydrogen production units with a capacity of 100 Nm³/h each, along with supporting equipment, will be built; these units will produce 547 million Nm³ of hydrogen per year. 25 hydrogen balloon tanks with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters each are installed, providing a hydrogen storage capacity of 650,000 Nm³ ; Supporting facilities such as a 220kV hydrogen production step-down station will be constructed. Timeline for tender-based procurement projects: Preparation of all survey reports and establishment of the conditions necessary for issuing construction tenders is to be completed within 45 days after the contract is signed; the preliminary design is to be finished within 60 days, the detailed construction drawings are to be completed within 90 days, and the as-built drawings are to be prepared within 30 days after completion of the project. Scope of the tender: The tendered project is divided into 1 bid section, specifically: Wind power survey and design – Survey and design services for the wind, solar, and energy storage components (CHDTD2046/16-SJ-04101): Survey and design services for the wind, solar, and energy storage components of Inner Mongolia HuanDian’s first-phase 1 million-kilowatt wind-solar hydrogen production project. These services include, but are not limited to, preliminary design optimization, construction drawing preparation, and completion drawing compilation – covering all aspects of the survey and design process. The survey and design work shall be carried out in accordance with relevant standards and depth requirements in the power industry. It meets all the requirements of the tenderer regarding project approval, construction preparation, construction, commissioning and completion acceptance, as well as auditing.
