Do these three solvents, propyl acetate, n-hexane, and water, have an azeotrope and a specific ratio? Thank you! ! !
n-Hexane and water are azeotropic; I can’t remember the azeotopic temperature, but the composition seems to be about 95% n-hexane and 5% water.
The binary azeotropes of hexane are shown in the attached figure. I could not find any information on ternary azeotropes in the solvent handbook.
