It enables more accurate calculation of liquid pipeline transportation and pipe diameter selection. The gas pipeline approach is not very reliable; it yields significant differences compared to the results obtained using the Peng-Rob method in Aspen or HYSYS/PROⅡ, so it should be used with caution.
