Given the data on the dirt-holding capacity of the filter element, as well as the amount of water that needs to be treated and the level of particulate impurities present, how can one determine how often the filter element should be replaced? Are there any reference books?
To determine when to replace a filter, the simplest approach is to check the pressure difference before and after it, or to regularly inspect the water quality at the outlet to ensure it meets the requirements.
