Recently, Zhongkong Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Zhongkong Technology”) successfully won the bid for the \"Integrated Project of Wind, Solar, Energy Storage, Hydrogen, Ammonia, and Alcohol for the Green Restoration of Abandoned Mines\" undertaken by Liaoyuan Tianying Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Liaoyuan Tianying”), which is part of China Tianying Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Tianying”). China Tianying’s integrated project for wind, solar, hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol production began construction in Liaoyuan on April 12, 2024. It is the largest-scale, most complex in terms of system design, and highest in terms of requirements for automation among similar projects under construction in China, with a total investment of 30.4 billion yuan. This project innovatively uses abandoned mine pits for ecological restoration, integrating various fields such as wind energy, solar energy, energy storage, hydrogen energy, and methanol production; it plans to install 2.639 GW of capacity for wind and photovoltaic renewable energy sources. Green electricity is generated through the combination of wind and solar power; gravity-based energy storage plays a key role in ensuring the consumption and stable supply of this green electricity. Green hydrogen is produced using the alkaline water electrolysis process, which is then used to synthesize green ammonia, green methanol, and other similar substances. Upon completion, the project is expected to produce 150,000 tons of green hydrogen and 800,000 tons of green methanol per year. Its aim is to create a closed-loop ecosystem that integrates \"green energy + green energy storage + green chemicals + green transportation,\" thereby helping Liaoyuan develop a complete new energy industry chain and industrial ecosystem. This will facilitate the city’s transformation from a traditional coal-based area into a modern zero-carbon hub, and it holds significant industrial significance for establishing a new energy system and implementing the **\"dual carbon\" strategy. In this 30.4-billion-yuan integrated project for wind, solar, storage, hydrogen, ammonia, and alcohol production by China Tianying, Zhongkong Technology leverages its new enterprise intelligent operation architecture driven by \"1+2+N\" industrial AI to develop an AI-driven blueprint for building an intelligent factory. It provides intelligent solutions that cover the entire process within the factory, and oversees the design of the automation framework to ensure seamless integration and efficient coordination among various subsystems ; At the same time, to address challenges such as the large new energy capacity of the project (2.609 GW) and stringent requirements imposed by the power grid, customized control logic and emergency response plans have been developed. These include technologies such as full-process intelligent coordination and optimization based on AI algorithms, adaptive and flexible scheduling of electrolyzers, intelligent production planning, and stable hydrogen supply, all of which help to achieve autonomous operation across the entire hydrogen production, storage, and chemical processing chain, as well as the goal of \"operationalization without human intervention or with minimal staff presence\". Zhongkong Technology will also be deeply involved in the entire process of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning. It will empower customers through knowledge transfer and an intelligent operation and maintenance system. In addition, it has assembled experienced expert teams to ensure high-quality project delivery, while utilizing the data collected from projects along with industry knowledge to support subsequent algorithm iterations, AI model training, and the development of new solutions.
