Regarding design temperature and operating temperature

Is it correct for a magnetic flap level gauge to have an operating temperature of 32 degrees and a design temperature of 120 degrees? Why is there such a large difference between the operating temperature and the design temperature? My understanding is that the two should be quite similar.
It’s designed to reach 280 km/h just like a car, but in practice it only reaches 120 km/h
Does it refer to the range, or the specific temperature point? It’s better to ask your equipment supplier whether they are reliable: lol
The design pressure and temperature are the test pressures and temperatures calculated by taking into account the material of the equipment and pipelines, as well as the maximum load during operation of the equipment. Operating pressure and temperature refer to the pressure and temperature under normal operating conditions.
There is a difference between these two temperatures.
