Question: Can storage tanks with a steel lining and PTFE be used when the ambient temperature is between minus 20 and minus 30 degrees Celsius?; (My master told me that steel-lined PTFE storage tanks can only be used above zero degrees, but many online sources claim they can be used at minus 200 degrees Celsius. Is there a difference in the manufacturing process?) ) Are there any materials available for systematic study on steel-lined plastic equipment? Standard documents similar to GB150, GB151, etc

My personal opinion is that it depends on the operating conditions; if the temperature of the medium is at room temperature, it should have little impact on steel-lined equipment
Since the device does not provide insulation and is used outdoors where the ambient temperature can drop to minus 30°, can it still be considered to operate under normal temperature conditions? Should low temperatures not be taken into account?
So what is the temperature of that medium? Pipe design generally determines the pipe material based on the medium being transported. For media at normal temperatures, there’s certainly no need to consider low temperatures. But I don’t understand the concept of lack of insulation – with such low ambient temperatures, doesn’t that affect the normal transportation of the medium?
The tanks produced by our factory are used by customers who place them outdoors, with no insulation; they are used under normal conditions in an environment where the temperature can drop to minus 30 degrees Celsius
There were design institute drawings when the other party customized it, right? If so, the design institute should have taken the on-site environmental conditions into account ; If not, it’s best to mention it in the contract.
