Recently, China National Chemical Corporation Tianchen signed an EPCC general contract for a 2×55,000-ton low-temperature ethane tank project with Longshan Petrochemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Thai Siam Cement Group in Vietnam. The successful signing of this project not only marks a breakthrough of \"zero\" for Sinochem in the field of low-temperature tank projects in Southeast Asia, but it also represents the first time that leading enterprises from China, Thailand, and Vietnam have collaborated in the chemical industry. It provides an innovative model for China and ASEAN to work together to advance the Belt and Road Initiative in a high-quality manner within the framework of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
In Vietnam, the general contracting for chemical plants and coal-fired power plants is mainly carried out by Chinese companies. Government officials at all levels are **overabundant**.
