Does anyone know whether dichloromethane detection is classified as toxic gas detection or flammable gas detection?
The explanatory notes for the GBT50493-2019 standard state that for gaseous media that are both toxic and flammable, although detection and alarm mechanisms are based on those for toxic gases, the toxic gas detectors must still meet the corresponding explosion-proof requirements due to their explosive properties.
Dichloromethane seems to be classified as low-toxicity; GB50493 specifies substances that are highly toxic or extremely toxic

It should work. Dichloromethane has a density greater than that of air, so the installation height must be taken into account
Treat it as toxic first, since dichloromethane has no flash point and can only form explosive mixtures with air at temperatures above 100 degrees
