However, for pharmaceutical companies, the requirements for centrifuges are extremely high! The equipment must comply with relevant GMP standards! Therefore, we make modifications in these areas to produce products that meet GMP requirements. Sealing requirements: Most plate centrifuges used in pharmaceutical manufacturing are operated in enclosed workshops. This requires the centrifuge to have good airtightness, so as to effectively maintain separation between the inside and outside of the machine during its operation, and prevent odors from escaping during production and affecting the surrounding environment! Then we need to use some sealing methods for the centrifuge: 1. We mainly install silicone strips on the casing; sealing strips are generally made of silicone strips that are resistant to corrosion and have good elasticity. After the cover is closed, the upper cover is locked using the locking handle, which presses the sealing strip together, ensuring effective sealing of the housing. 2. Bearing seat sealing: What is important here is the large nut on the main shaft. Since the locking drum needs to rotate, we manufacture the large nut as a single piece from corrosion-resistant materials (stainless steel or titanium alloy). A sealing ring is machined under the nut to achieve sealing; oil seals are generally used for the sealing of bearing housings. The main measure to prevent liquid from entering the centrifuge bearing housing during operation is to prevent gas from entering the bearing housing. 3. Nozzles: Designed to allow the installation of additional devices such as feed pipes, flushing pipes, discharge pipes, and observation lenses. The sealed connections in the area where the conveyor belt operates are achieved using quick connectors and standard sealing flanges. 4. Sealing: Protective covers are installed at the ends of the motor to enhance its safety in use; the area where the conveyor belt operates should also be sealed to prevent leakage of the rubber pins that can cause wear of the belt. 5. Online cleaning requirement: The plate centrifuge features an online cleaning function, which enables effective cleaning of the interior of the equipment. Generally, a cleaning tube is installed to enable thorough cleaning of the bottom of the tank, the interior of the shell, and the exterior of the tank.
