Selection of pipeline material for lime milk medium

I would like to ask everyone: what type of pipeline is generally used for transporting lime milk at a concentration of 15%? I checked some of my previous projects and found that galvanized seamless steel pipes were used. A few days ago, I asked a friend who said that carbon steel pipes are now being used instead. I’m a bit confused—from what I remember, carbon steel is prone to corrosion, right?
If corrosion is a concern, use a lining; if you’re not confident enough, go with stainless steel straight away.
If it is just lime milk, carbon steel is suitable. If there is corrosion, then there must be something else in the lime milk.
For carbon steel, use galvanized pipes if you want to save money.
