【Haichuan Chemical Technology Documents】Recommended article: Key Technologies for the Design and Operation of Molten Salt Thermal Storage. At the 2025 Molten Salt Energy Storage Commercialization Forum held recently, Zhang Junfeng, a second-level technical expert from the New Energy Engineering Institute of China Power Construction Group Northwest Survey and Design Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Power Construction Northwest Institute), delivered a presentation titled “Key Technologies for the Design and Operation of Molten Salt Thermal Storage”. In this presentation, he highlighted the key considerations for selecting various components used in molten salt thermal storage systems as well as the important design aspects related to these technologies. He also shared common problems encountered during the operation of such systems along with corresponding solutions, using practical examples.
