Are soft connections (including metal expansion joints, rubber splices, etc.) required at the inlet and outlet of the circulating water pump? Are there any regulatory requirements?
Not necessarily; if there is no vibration in the pump and piping, it may not be necessary to include it in cases without special requirements. You can talk to the pump manufacturer. Or communicate with process professionals
Generally, soft connections are not required at the pump outlet
Personally, I think it should be added depending on the circumstances
