I’m seeking advice from experts: what are the differences between L245R material and Q235B as well as Q345? Is L245R widely available on the market? Can Q345 straight-seam pipes or other types of pipes be used as substitutes? The medium is approximately 90% CO in the exhaust pipeline; the operating pressure is 10 kPa, and the pipe diameter is DN1000. Between Q345 straight-seam pipes and 9711 medium-duty L245R straight-seam pipes, which one offers better cost-performance when they have the same wall thickness?
L245R is commonly used in pipelines, while Q235B is typically used for structural steel; Q345 is often used in equipment. For this operating condition, L235R is perfectly fine to use.
