Many regulations require that the minimum height of exhaust stacks be 15 meters, meaning that the distance from the ground to the top of the exhaust stack should be no less than 15 meters. But precisely, what exactly does the top of the exhaust stack refer to? Regarding the three different points on the top of the exhaust stack shown in the attached diagram, which one should be chosen? The top of the exhaust stack specifically refers to the highest point of the wind cap. Therefore, the height of the exhaust stack should be measured from the ground to the highest point of the wind cap. .
Is this the emission height without any treatment?
Is the required length of the exhaust stack 15m, or measured from the ground?
What is generally referred to is the total height; few people worry about this issue.
