Project on the comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas to produce LNG and liquid ammonia by Chifeng Zhongji New Energy Co., Ltd. Project code: 2407-150429-04-01-476715. Project entity: Chifeng Zhongji New Energy Co., Ltd. Construction site: Xizi Industrial Park, Ningcheng County, Chifeng City. Total investment: 1,269,883,000 yuan. Planned construction period: December 2024 to December 2026. Construction scale and content: The project is designed to produce 153,000 tons of LNG and 194,000 tons of liquid ammonia annually. The new production facilities include gas holders, TSA purification systems, coke oven gas compression units, advanced desulfurization and decarburization systems, methane cryogenic separation units, PSA hydrogen production systems, ammonia synthesis gas compression units, ammonia refrigeration machines, and B0G compression units; as well as ammonia synthesis plants, liquid ammonia storage areas, and LNG storage areas. The utility and auxiliary production facilities comprise nitrogen production stations, substation buildings, cabinet rooms, circulating water systems, and vehicle loading/unloading stations, along with supporting infrastructure for water and power supply. Process flow: Coke oven gas (purchased externally) – purification in a gas holder TSA – pressurization of coke oven gas – advanced desulfurization – decarburization – compression of syngas via cryogenic liquefaction – ammonia synthesis – LNG – liquid ammonia.
