I would like to ask everyone: when designing temperature and pressure alarms and interlocks, it is common to have alarms for high values and low values, as well as interlocks for extremely high values and extremely low values. I wonder if there is a need for alarms specifically for extremely high and extremely low values – after all, alarms are already triggered when the values reach high or low levels. I remember seeing someone mention such a requirement, and I was quite confused at the time
There will be high-value alarms and low-value alarms. High-value alarms and low-value alarms are usually used as reminders, while ultra-high-value interlocks and ultra-low-value interlocks are designed to automatically take control measures for equipment safety; ultra-high-value alarms and ultra-low-value alarms can serve as more severe warnings. .
It satisfies psychological needs but has little practical use

Interlocking for high reporting and low reporting is still very necessary for safe operation.
