Is it necessary to use a substitute material for dual-standard materials? For example, the drawing specifies S31608, but the actual material of the sheet is S31609/S31608
There is no need for material substitution, as S31609 is an equivalent or higher-grade material than S31608, and can be used directly. .
It’s generally not necessary, but to avoid future disputes, it’s advisable to prepare a deviation table.
