Scope: This bidding project is divided into 1 bid package; the current bidding relates to: (001) Ordos Laboratory Project for Producing Olefins via the One-Step Syngas Process – Skid-mounted Equipment. Sinochem Business Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinochem Capital Investment Management Co., Ltd., with China National Chemical Corporation as its controlling shareholder. On October 10, 2024, the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation organized a technical demonstration meeting in Beijing for the pilot-scale production of olefins via the one-step synthesis gas process at the Tsinghua University-Ordos Laboratory. The experts participating in the seminar came from organizations such as China Tianchen Engineering Co., Ltd., Peking University, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Shaanxi Weihe Coal Chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd., the Environmental Development Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Technical Economics Research Institute of Sinopec Group, and Sinopec Group Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd. Professor Qian Weizhong, the project leader, provided a detailed presentation on the technical approach, technical specifications, technical advantages, and technical-economic feasibility. The experts examined the catalyst in person and visited the laboratory; after discussion, they agreed that this technology represents an important research direction in the field of efficient utilization of clean coal in our country. Compared to traditional technologies, it offers advantages such as a simpler process, lower energy consumption, and reduced wastewater generation, thus meeting the strategic requirements for **green and low-carbon development ; This technology features mild process conditions and controllable safety risks, demonstrating significant advancement and cost efficiency. The conference invited leaders from the Ordos Emergency Management Bureau, officials from Sinopec Great Wall Energy Chemical Co., Ltd., leaders from the Coal Chemicals Division of JinNeng Holding Equipment Manufacturing Group, and the head of the Technology Department at Zhongtian Hechuang Energy Co., Ltd., among others, to attend. This technology has received support from initiatives such as the Key R&D Program, Inner Mongolia Science and Technology Support Projects, and the Tsinghua University-Ordos Laboratory Project. Nearly 30 invention patents have been applied for and granted, and it is included in Ordos City’s “Science and Technology Breakthrough” program.
