Recently, the review of the 30% 3D model for the 600,000 tons per year ethanol production facility of Inner Mongolia Zhuozheng Coal Chemical Co., Ltd., a project that is under the general contracting of Beijing Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Beiyou Engineering”), was successfully completed, and the equipment layout plans also passed the evaluation. This also marks a new phase in the project design work, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction. During the review, emphasis was placed on the rationality and feasibility of equipment layout, installation, operation, and maintenance, to ensure that the model closely matches actual production requirements. At the same time, the equipment layout plan was also subject to rigorous review. The review team conducted a comprehensive assessment of the plane layout of the installations, the main operational pathways, the areas designated for inspection and maintenance, the auxiliary facilities, as well as the layout of the critical pipelines, and gave it high praise. The 600,000 tons per year ethanol production facility project of Inner Mongolia Zhuozheng Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. is one of Beiyou Engineering Company’s key initiatives in the field of coal chemicals. It also constitutes a vital part of Zhuozheng Company’s project to produce 1 million tons per year of coal-based methanol, as well as the project aimed at optimizing the processing chain of methanol and acetic acid in order to produce high-end chemicals and new materials through comprehensive utilization. This project utilizes advanced technologies for the efficient, clean, and comprehensive utilization of coal based on its different quality grades. By taking advantage of the abundant coal resources in Wushen Banner, it aims to produce high-quality ethanol as well as various new material products, thereby increasing the added value of these coal resources and promoting local economic development.
