One value represents the outer diameter and the other represents the inner diameter; these together constitute the nominal diameter. Check the national standards to find out the allowable ranges for the outer and inner diameters of the nominal diameter. The range of values for the nominal diameter, which is the outer diameter, is very narrow and relatively small.
Either one is acceptable, depending on the level of precision you need. In other words, there will still be differences in roundness after welding the head and the cylinder, and the allowable error range for the cylinder diameter is specified by the client. In the diagram, for EHA1200*8, is the 8 millimeters referred to as the forming thickness or the material thickness? This is very important; the outer diameter of the EHA1200*8 molded product is generally around 1212. If it’s the EHB1219 material, the thickness will be different as well. Therefore, it is recommended to cut the material according to EHA1200*10. Or it needs to be thicker to achieve the 1219 outer diameter you want.
