On August 25, the results of the bidding for the overall chemical engineering services, master design, and preliminary design for the first phase of the Shuangyashan integrated project for producing green methanol and green aviation fuel were made public. Winner of the bid: Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd.; bid price: 14,600,000.00 yuan. Project name: The first phase of the Shuangyashan integrated project for producing green methanol and green aviation fuel via biological methods. Construction site: The New Coal Chemical Industry Park in the Shuangyashan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Heilongjiang Province. Construction scale: The Phase I project for the integrated production of green methanol and green aviation fuel in Shuangyashan (referred to as the Shuangyashan Project) is located in Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province. It is planned to establish a production base capable of producing millions of tons of green methanol and green aviation fuel, with the project being constructed in two phases. The first phase of construction will result in an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of green aviation fuel and 800,000 tons of biomass briquettes per year. This includes the construction of one green aviation fuel factory, four biomass preprocessing factories, a 348 MW new energy power generation facility (off-grid), as well as a 100 MW wind power generation facility (on-grid – subject to approval for connection); a photovoltaic power station (subject to approval for connection); a water electrolysis hydrogen production plant; and the corresponding utility systems. This project makes targeted use of the abundant new energy sources and agricultural straws in Shuangyashan City for green development and utilization, with its outputs being green hydrogen, biomass briquettes, and green aviation fuel. The main construction components are as follows: (1) Centralized new energy section (for internal use): The installed capacity is 320 MW, comprising 280 MW of centralized wind power and 40 MW/50.71872 MWp of centralized photovoltaic systems; simultaneously, 64 MW/64 MWh of electrochemical energy storage is installed to supply power to the chemical plant ; (2) Distributed new energy section (for internal use): The installed capacity is 28.252 MW, comprising 4*6.7 MW of distributed wind power and 4*0.363 MW of distributed photovoltaic systems to supply the biomass pretreatment plant; in addition, 2.7 MW/5.4 MWh of electrochemical energy storage is provided ; (3) Biomass pretreatment plant section: It is planned to build biomass pellet plants with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons each at five locations – Wujiuqi Farm, Baoqing County, Jixian County, and Fujin City – resulting in an overall annual production of 800,000 tons of biomass pellets ; (4) Green aviation fuel production plant section: The scale of the aviation fuel synthesis facility is 100,000 tons per year, including 9,163 tons per year of hydrogen production via electrolysis, 800,000 tons per year from biomass gasification units, and 100,000 tons per year from aviation fuel synthesis units ; (5) Centralized new energy section (grid-connected section): Includes 100MW of centralized wind power, with 10MW/20MWh of electrochemical energy storage provided simultaneously.
