Review of the four PE and PP units for Phase 1 of the second phase of Yulin Chemical’s 15 million tons per year coal sorting and cleaning project

Recently, the foundation design review meeting for the four PE and PP units of Phase 1, Stage 2 of Shaanxi Coal Group Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd.’s 15 million tons per year demonstration project for clean and efficient conversion of coal into various products was successfully held in Xi’an, Shaanxi. Attendees of this meeting included Huang Shemin, Senior Chief Engineer from the Basic Construction Management Department of Shaanxi Coal Group, Wang Xiaofei, Senior Chief Engineer from the Safety and Environmental Protection Supervision Department, Xie Wuqiang, Deputy General Manager of Yulin Chemical, as well as other leaders and externally invited experts. At the meeting, Huang Shemin said that the first phase of the Yulin Chemical Phase II project is a key construction project for Shaanxi Coal Group. With its large scale and high level of public attention, it serves as a vital support for Shaanxi Province in building a \"trillion-yuan modern energy industry cluster.\" He emphasized that experts should maintain a high level of professionalism and a meticulous work attitude, and adhere to the principles of \"practicality, usability, effectiveness, and avoiding overly complex designs\" when carrying out thorough preliminary reviews. The design unit must start from every detail of the design and carry out thorough revisions and improvements to the design documents. Yulin Chemical needs to thoroughly and meticulously review the feedback, to ensure that the plant construction meets high standards and strict requirements. Xie Wuqiang provided a detailed overview of the project’s progress in terms of procedures, design, procurement, construction, and other aspects. He pointed out that this review should focus intensively on the “four business philosophies,” centering on aspects such as safety assessments, environmental evaluations, and energy conservation. It is necessary to strictly adhere to the current standards and industry norms for project construction, and to carry out the review work thoroughly in order to ensure the steady and high-quality progress of the project. During this period, the relevant responsible persons from Sinopec Ningbo Engineering Co., Ltd. and Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. respectively reported on the foundation design details for the four PE and PP plants. A total of 240 suggestions and recommendations were put forward during this review, which effectively improved the detailed design of the four PE and PP units, providing an important guarantee for the high-quality construction of the project.
