On December 4, Qinghai Longyuan New Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Qinghai Company, issued an open tender for grid connection testing and simulation modeling services related to the 50MW/300MWh molten salt energy storage project in Golmud. Project Overview: The grid connection testing and simulation modeling project for the 50MW/300MWh molten salt energy storage system of Qinghai Longyuan New Energy Co., Ltd. is located in the Kunlun Economic and Technological Development Zone in Golmud. This project has seen the construction of a 150MW molten salt electric heater system, along with a corresponding 6-hour molten salt heat storage system, a 50MW steam turbine generator set, and other auxiliary facilities. Additionally, an 110kV step-up substation has been built, and the 110kV transmission lines are connected to the Golmud East collection station via a “π” configuration. Scope of the tender: In accordance with the approval opinions regarding the project’s integration into the system and relevant requirements of the power grid, carry out grid connection tests and simulation modeling for the 50MW/300MWh molten salt energy storage project in Golmud. Including but not limited to generator leading-phase tests, PSS function tuning tests, unit AGC function tests, unit AVC function tests, power quality tests, system reactance calculation tests, unit load-shedding tests, unit protection tests, and various specialized meetings related to grid connection acceptance ; Among them, the simulation modeling report (which must bear the CANS/CMA certification mark) needs to be approved and accepted by the State Grid Qinghai Electric Power Control Center. Main qualification requirements for bidders: 1. Performance requirement: From December 2022 to the bid submission deadline (subject to the contract signing date), the bidder must have at least one contract related to power grid testing services or power plant simulation and modeling services. The bidder must provide a contract that demonstrates compliance with this performance requirement; the scanned copy of the contract must include the pages with the signatures of both parties, the contract signing date, and the key information specified in the performance requirements. 2. Joint bids are not accepted for this project.
