Yizheng Chemical Fiber’s membrane-grade polyester material technology has been recognized

　According to Sinochem News, recently, the project titled “Industrialization of Patent Technologies for Membrane-grade Polyester Materials and Expansion of Their High-end Applications” carried out by Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company of Sinopec was selected as a model case within the 2025 “Hundred Chains, Thousand Enterprises” patent industrialization initiative announced by the China Patent Protection Association. 　　It is reported that this technology has created a patent portfolio covering formulations, processes, and applications. By advancing membrane-grade polyester technology, it overcame the technical barriers associated with the continuous polymerization of additives in high concentrations, thereby developing polyester suitable for use in membranes. Centered around this technology, Yizheng Chemical Fibers took the lead in formulating **standards**, and received certifications such as \"National Manufacturing Single Champion\" and \"Patent-Intensive Product\". It achieved the first industrial production on a scale of 10,000 tons in China; its products are used in strategic emerging industries such as optics and photovoltaics. The total production volume has reached 7.69 million tons, helping to raise the domestic production rate for polyester used in membranes to 90%.
