Do solid powder pipelines require pressure testing and inspection?

The medium is polyethylene powder; under normal conditions, the powder falls freely within the pipeline. Is it necessary to perform pressure testing and inspections on such pipelines? What kind of tests need to be done? What standards and specifications are used? ?
I haven’t encountered such a problem in practice; I think it’s necessary to check for leaks, as testing is not required since it’s a free fall. As for why leak detection is necessary, I see it this way: your polyethylene powder is a flammable and explosive material. If there is a leak, even if it’s just extremely small particles that escape, their concentration in the air at the site could very well reach the explosive limit, thereby creating safety hazards.
