Are there any regulations or standards that require anti-corrosion treatment for workshop floors?

There was an instance where the resin regeneration water pipeline at a plant’s desalination station was leaking. The workers considered it a minor issue; over time, a small hole formed in the concrete floor, but beneath that concrete the area had become corroded and hollow, which led to the tilting and collapse of the equipment foundation.
What was said on the 5th floor is very accurate. With the hydrochloric acid used in our company, the corrosion of the ground surface isn’t severe; however, once it penetrates the soil layer beneath the surface, the ground collapses. But the damage isn’t that serious – only the foundation of the equipment settles a bit. Later, the area was backfilled to provide corrosion protection
