It depends on the purpose of your purging； If work is to be carried out on the pipeline involving open-flame repairs, it is necessary to check for the presence of flammable vapors or gases; if the LEL is 0, the oxygen level does not matter ； If the LEL is not 0, it is strictly necessary to continue with cleaning and purging ； If working with materials that are flammable, the oxygen content must be below the LOC.
