Why is the chloride ion concentration so high?
The customer said it’s groundwater! The water quality is not very good!

There is a certain level of alkalinity, which I can understand; with so many chloride ions present, why weren’t they removed in advance? There can’t be no boiler water treatment section, right? Perhaps your organization has enough money to have a tea stove for use along with a spare one, not to mention a boiler.

For use in boilers, it is generally required to use deionized water, or soft water, desalinated water, deoxygenated water, and the like. Anyway, the ion content is very low. The conductivity is only below 3.
The requirements for boiler water vary depending on the level of the boiler; you should check the specifications regarding the quality of water used as boiler feedwater. In any case, such a high chloride ion concentration certainly does not meet the water quality requirements for boiler feedwater.
