Everyone, transporting the finished product in long pipelines and putting it into barrels causes the safety valves to activate frequently. Is there any solution?
Select the head of the packaging pump to be lower than the setting pressure of the safety valve, so that it will not activate when the valve is closed during the packaging process. It is also possible that you need to increase the pump’s flow rate appropriately to ensure the packaging speed. In the case where the pump is not replaced, you need to connect the safety valve to the finished product tank using pipes. This ensures that the leaked material can return to the finished product tank. (Guarantee that the product does not solidify; otherwise, heat tracing is required)
It’s not that reason; if I’m not mistaken, the head of the pump is currently lower than the setting pressure of the safety valve. It is the water hammer effect caused by the rapid closure of the valve; considering adding a return line or a buffer tank could be an option.
I agree with your view. However, if it is indeed water hammer effect, adjusting the advance time and valve closing speed can also solve the problem

If the safety valve is intended to prevent pressure buildup during exposure to sunlight, it can be turned off before bottling. If the material itself requires that it cannot be shut off, it is recommended to install a return line to the tank behind the pump outlet valve
