In the DCS operating system, under what circumstances is parallel operation used instead of series operation? When is cascade control used?
Haven’t heard of the union set; does the original poster want to ask when cascade control is used and when it isn’t?
Never heard of parallel connection. As for the design and implementation of cascade control, it is a process based on the fact that simple control loops do not yield satisfactory results; an additional control variable is introduced to stabilize the main control variable
