Hello everyone! I started working in chemical engineering design this year, specializing in chemical process engineering. I don’t have any experience; since I just started working here, I haven’t been involved in any projects yet. I spend my days at the company without knowing what to do. It’s really frustrating to see others busy while I have nothing to do! Maybe others think that even if there’s a task to be given to you, will you do it? No one taught me either; I wanted to give up. I’ve just started to understand the project process a bit; it seems that those involved in process design need to prepare the following: Process Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PID), Utility Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (ULD), Equipment List (ESL), Equipment Layout Plans (plan and elevation views) (ELD), Civil Engineering Conditions Diagrams (CCD), Pipe Material Specification Sheets, Pipeline Characteristics Tables (pipe index tables), Pipe Layout Plans, Pipe Axonometric Views (single-line diagrams), Comprehensive Material Lists, Insulation Design Specifications (regulations for insulating equipment and pipes), Steel Platform Structure Diagrams, Pipe Stress Calculation Reports, and so on. It seems really difficult; there’s a lot of pressure involved. I haven’t started yet; how do I arrange the pipes? Examples would be best!
QQ: 630173318 – I will teach you how to create CAD piping diagrams step by step; there are rewards available.
Children haven’t yet clarified their thinking; much of what you’ve written relates to piping, materials, and stress issues. From the perspective of large design institutes, such details are not left to the process engineers to handle. And for the process, a document needs to be prepared, including a line list (showing the pipes and materials used), but the EQ/IN date sheet isn’t included in it~
What does EQ/IN date sheet mean? line list (completed with pipes and materials); how exactly is this done? Please provide a detailed explanation Could you please give some advice?
The process needs to be documented: what’s the procedure for preparing a line list (showing the pipes and materials used), and how is an EQ/IN date sheet created?
