Question: It’s like this: the company needs to relocate and rebuild, and the time allowed is quite short. We have now hired a design company to create a drawing, and we were surprised after seeing it; we found the design to be highly unreasonable. The biggest problem is the power distribution rooms and control rooms in the workshops. In our current setup, the power distribution rooms are located within the workshops, separated by a wall, and the control rooms (central control stations) are also situated next to those power distribution rooms, which is quite convenient. However, in this new design, all the power distribution rooms and control rooms have been placed in one building, at a considerable distance from each other. The design company said that it’s now not allowed to locate power distribution rooms within the same building as the workshops. :@ :@:@ Problem: By concentrating them in one place, the farthest workshops are 2 kilometers apart; this makes maintenance, operation, and monitoring very inconvenient, and it also results in huge additional costs. Aren’t your staff divided into those on-site and those in the control room? By setting up a small operation room next to the equipment, the problems that arise can be resolved; communication between those on-site and those in the control room can be carried out using walkie-talkies

Many of our processes aren’t automated; operations need to be carried out based on the status of instruments. If an operation room is to be built, instruments must be installed there. According to the standards, this isn’t proper practice. Is that really the case? It’s confusing – there are too many rules, and it’s all so complicated. . .
