May I ask that if the inner surface of carbon steel is protected with epoxy coal tar pitch, can a support still be welded to the outside of the tank?
Personally, I don’t think so; the high temperatures and deformation caused by welding would affect the internal anti-corrosion coating.
It’s enough to assemble a bracket cold-fittingly; no welding is needed, right?
Logically, all the brackets should be installed before anti-corrosion treatment is applied to the inner wall. As for cold assembly, does that refer to bolt connections? The estimate seems incorrect; what is the wall thickness of your storage tanks?
