Currently, there are not many plants in China that use the co-oxidation method to produce PO/SM; Zhenhai is a joint venture with the American company Lyondell, while CNOOC Shell utilizes Shell’s technology. I heard that these two patent holders of the PO/SM production technology via co-oxidation do not transfer their technology – is this true? I’ve also heard that Repsol has process packages – is the technology reliable, and will it be transferred? Is there anyone who knows how to get in touch with Repsol’s patent holders? I would be extremely grateful!
Lyondell and Shell do not transfer PO/SM technology. It is said that this Spanish company has already signed agreements to transfer its PO/SM technology to two companies in China; you can ask the relevant personnel at Tianjin Dagu to see if they can help you get in touch with them
