Better furnaces are equipped with ATS systems, and temperature control depends mainly on the skills of the programmer. As for the furnace temperature of 500–600°C, this is because the reactor and pipes have high heat dissipation rates, along with fast flow rates of the material and short residence times.
Molten salt might just suffice, and the temperature remains relatively uniform; one could ask molten salt manufacturers whether they have high-temperature molten salts available

In the laboratory, it’s of course convenient to use electricity. Additionally, if high temperature requirements exist, salt bath heating can be considered; this involves using electricity to heat a salt bath, which is then used to heat the materials. This way, the temperature can be controlled more accurately, which is convenient and fast.

If environmental considerations are a factor, natural gas is a suitable choice. If there are devices that have used charcoal gas (the combustible gas produced when charcoal is carbonized).
