Benzene belongs to Group IIA. The graph above shows the flow pressure drop curve provided by the foreign brand PROTEGO for their flame arrestors. It can be seen that the pressure drop of a DN100 flame and detonation arrestor at a flow rate of 350 m3/h is approximately 700 Pa, while the pressure drop of a DN150 flame and detonation arrestor at the same flow rate is around 170 Pa. The pressure drop for DN125 is somewhere between the two, and it is not provided in the sample. So it depends on the allowable pressure drop you are willing to accept. If a pressure drop of around 300 pa to 400 pa is acceptable to you, then a DN125 flame arrester can be used ; If you want the pressure drop to be as low as possible, then you can use a flame arrester with a DN150 size, whose pressure drop is approximately 170 Pa. If it is absolutely required that the pressure drop be less than 100 Pa, then a flame arrester with a larger diameter (DN200 or above) must be used. Products of the same specification from domestic brands may have a slightly greater pressure drop; therefore, if using domestic brands, it is recommended to choose flame arresters with a larger diameter.
