Regarding the square box in the pit

We are currently using a square box that is placed directly in the pit, but water enters the pit and causes the box to float. How can we solve this problem? When it was designed, only a small collection pit was provided in the pit, with no pump installed to remove the wastewater from that pit. We now want to make improvements – is it possible to fix the box in the pit so that it doesn’t float? Then all the gaps are filled in and sealed off – does doing this violate the regulatory requirements? Or what regulations? Please help, thank you!
You can refer to the standard methods for buried tanks, which take into account measures to prevent floating. However, it’s hard to say whether the square box will collapse if there is water outside when it’s empty!
