How much 0.6MPa saturated steam is needed to evaporate one ton of water?
Generally, it is one ton of steam per ton of water; with multi-effect evaporation, two stages can reduce this ratio to 0.6, while three stages can achieve 0.4.

It can be dried without steam; it depends on how much time you want to take.
The latent heat of vaporization for water at 100 degrees is 2257 kJ/kg. First, calculate the heat required to raise 1 ton of water to 100 degrees, then add the heat needed to vaporize that 1 ton of water. The total amount of heat divided by the difference between the enthalpy of the steam and the enthalpy of the condensed water gives the desired value.
Multi-effect evaporation can be considered; 1. For single-effect operation, it is 1.1 tons； 2. It is 0.57 tons in dual-effect mode ； 3. It is 0.4 tons for three-effect operation ； 4. It is 0.3 tons for four-effect operation ； 5. It is 0.27 tons for five effects.
