This is the continuous nitration plant designed by my company for a certain company.
All stainless steel? No maintenance lifting hook? How do I remove the upper head and mixer?
Is the yellow one in the upper left corner the lifting beam? ?
Since it is mixed-acid nitration, the reactor vessel is of course made of stainless steel. But the large flange, as well as the frame, are clearly made of carbon steel. Of course, there are tracks for the maintenance hoist. The upper head and stirrer can be removed. Thank you for your attention!

I have a question: why can’t a pump be used to add acid?
If you use a pump to transfer mixed acid, and if the pipe fittings are connected using flanges, or if an accident occurs with the mixed acid resulting in water seeping in, or if holes develop in the pipes over time, this can lead to acid leakage that can harm people
No pump is needed; should liquid be drawn using a height difference or vacuum? Actually, I think it’s better to use a pump; that’s how most factories design things. As for the flanges, a mortise-and-tenon design would be relatively better. As for the pipelines, surely someone checks them every day; any leaks or drips will definitely be addressed promptly, so as to prevent accidents that could injure people.
