The chemical industry standard HG/T 20582-2011 provides several calculation methods for such cases; unfortunately, however, the commonly used strength calculation software does not offer corresponding modules for these types of structures. In my humble opinion, I have spent my spare time developing several calculation programs for various components. These programs incorporate a material database based on the GB code for pressure vessel design (150 series), which includes 489 different materials such as carbon steel and low-alloy steel, high-alloy steel, cast steel, cast iron, nickel and nickel alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys, titanium and titanium alloys, copper and copper alloys, and zirconium and zirconium alloys. The main functions currently available include: 1. Design of conical heads with large cone angles (α > 70°); 2. Design of containers with semi-circular tube jackets; 3. Calculation of the equivalent design pressure for flanges; 4. Calculation of elbows under internal pressure; 5. Calculation of inclined elbows; 6. Calculation of welded tees; 7. Calculation of Y-shaped pipes; 8. Calculation of Ω expansion joints; 9. Calculation of thin-walled convex heads under internal pressure. Calculation reports in table format can be printed directly.
