Therefore, establishing a well-organized process record system centered around individual processes is an essential skill for becoming an excellent process technician. 5. To be a good process engineer, I believe it is necessary first to have a thorough understanding of the details of the manufacturing process, second to be a competent operator, and finally to be diligent in learning and asking questions in order to carry out each task excellently. 6. Understand the daily production and changes in process parameters; based on one’s responsibilities, analyze these changes, identify the causes, and predict their impact on quality in order to enable further control. 7. As a process engineer, it is necessary to go to the production site on a daily basis to understand the production progress, keep track of production data, manage records properly, conduct data analysis, identify problems within the system, and urge the branch factory to resolve them! 8. First, one must become familiar with the processes, PID and PIF diagrams; it’s best to calculate the material balances by oneself. After doing such calculations, one gains an understanding that differs from what can be learned from books or from others’ instructions. Then, through daily production control and process management, one can further deepen their understanding of the equipment, aiming to reach a level of comprehension of the design. Identifying reasonable solutions to the problems existing in equipment and processes in actual production is also a way to improve one’s skills. Continuously strengthening theoretical knowledge, identifying theoretical shortcomings through practice, and addressing them specifically allows for further improvement. It is important to be good at documenting and constantly summarizing work experience, and it is even better to elevate these summaries to a theoretical level. Strengthening communication with chief engineers, technical staff, and even frontline operators can sometimes lead to a rapid deepening of one’s understanding of the equipment.
