What is a typical allowable overpressure for the emergency pressure relief manhole in atmospheric or slightly positive pressure vessels? For example, the maximum discharge rate is under fire conditions.
The allowable accumulated pressure for atmospheric and low-pressure storage tanks manufactured in accordance with API650 is 0. As for overpressure, each emergency relief valve is different; it depends on your requirements.
No accumulation allowed? How to explain it? Generally, when something is released, there is always a certain amount of accumulation. What is the overpressure here? Thank you
