I’m currently working on a liquid chlorine gasification renovation project. The process is as follows: First, steam is used to heat the heat transfer oil to 55–60°C, and then the heat transfer oil is used to heat liquid chlorine to cause it to vaporize. 55-60 degrees – I really don’t understand why thermal oil is used; hot water would be sufficient, isn’t that a waste?

Heating with heat transfer oil seems a bit absurd; you should first ask what the designer intends. Perhaps he has his own special considerations.
Vaporization of liquid chlorine is unsafe when there is a large temperature difference.
