The plant framework of atmospheric and vacuum distillation units requires the installation of fire-suppression steam, and GB50160 8.8 Steam Fire Suppression Systems also states that it is advisable to have such steam available for fire suppression. However, there are no clear regulations specifying how many fire steam pipes should be installed in the plant area, at what intervals they should be placed, or what size pipes are required for different areas.
