Do you know how the exhaust gases generated during the unloading of liquid ammonia tankers are generally handled? I’m working on a project recently and need some information in this area; I would be grateful if experts could share their insights
Liquid ammonia tanks are pressure vessels; where does the exhaust gas come from?
The estimate refers to the ammonia gas formed by the vaporization of ammonia remaining in the pipeline after unloading is completed.
I’m not really sure, but it seems that once the LNG is used up, nitrogen is used to blow it away
If there is a dilution tank, purge it with nitrogen
